Leather Dog Walk Kits: Harness & Leash, Collar & Leash Sets

Every walk kit pairs one leash style with either a collar or a harness, in matching colors, at a 10% saving versus buying the pieces separately. The choice between a collar and leash set or a harness and leash set comes down to where the leash pressure sits during the walk, not to material or build quality: both kit types use the same Italian vegetable-tanned leather and solid brass hardware.

Some owners buy both kit types and rotate them, a collar and leash set for short errands, a harness and leash set for longer walks. Sizes run XXS to XL on collars and XXXS to XL on the harness, so both kit types cover small breeds through large and giant breeds.

Every walk kit lets you pick the leash independently of the collar or harness. The Classic Leash is a 115 cm hand-held leash built for direct, everyday control. The Omni Leash is longer at 238 cm and adjusts for hands-free wear around the waist or crossbody, in addition to hand-held use. Both use the same leather and hardware as the rest of the kit, so the decision comes down to how you want to carry the leash, not a difference in quality.

Every The Lille Björn walk kit is cut from a single piece of full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather with no bonded layers in the collar or leash construction, which keeps the material breathable against the dog's skin. Hardware is solid brass secured with Chicago screws, brass resists rust and corrosion rather than just looking polished when new. The leather is firm at first and breaks in gradually with wear, developing a patina instead of cracking the way bonded leather or coated webbing can over time. Buying the pieces as a matched kit, rather than individually, saves 10% versus the combined single-item price.

The Lille Björn sells collars, leashes, and harnesses individually, as matched two-piece walk kits, and as complete three-piece bundles. Collar line, width, and personalization all work identically across all three purchase types, choosing Vero in either Classic or Wide adds the embossed name whether you buy a single collar, a walk kit, or a bundle. What actually changes between the three is how many matching pieces you buy at once and what ships with the order.
